Central Mass Chabad - Chabad Lubavitch of Central Massachusetts - is a warm and open Jewish community in the heart of Worcester.
From our home at 22 Newton Avenue, we serve Jews of every background and level of observance across Central Massachusetts with Shabbat and holiday services, learning for all ages, and programs for children, teens and families. Led by Rabbi Mendel and Chani Fogelman together with their family and team, our door is always open.
Whether you are looking for a place to pray, a class to join, a program for your children, or simply good company, you are welcome here.
What we believe
One family
Every Jew is part of one big family. Whatever your background or level of observance, you are always at home with family.
Torah is yours
Torah is the inheritance of every Jew. It is yours - feel free to claim it.
Joy
Every activity at Chabad is infused with the Chassidic spirit of love, joy, faith and optimism.
Every mitzvah counts
Judaism is not all or nothing. Every good deed has its own unlimited value - our goal is to raise your MQ (Mitzvah quotient).
Grow at your pace
To live is to grow, and we each grow at our own pace. Chabad offers the tools; you integrate them into your life on your terms and your timetable.
Ask anything
Life is a journey and a search for answers. Every question is a good one - the only bad question is the one left unasked.
Learning for every level
A full spectrum of Torah learning, from the practical to the mystical, for all levels of knowledge. Want to explore a Jewish topic? Let us know.
Here to help
Caring for others is the core of Judaism. If we can help anyone in our community, materially or spiritually, please reach out.
Judaism, not affiliation
Whether or not you belong to a synagogue or any Jewish institution, Chabad adds spirituality, study, community - and some good soul food - to your Jewish life.
Community supported
Each Chabad center is independent and funded by voluntary contributions. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds - our support comes from this community and stays here.
Come see for yourself. Join us for a Shabbat service, a class, or a holiday celebration - we would love to meet you.
