We are reminded by the sound of the shofar that we face a serious time of the year when we ask G‑d to provide for us with parnossa, gezunt, and especially, nachas from our children.
We are in the early stages of a milestone year here at the Yeshiva. On the 12th of Tammuz 75 years ago, Rabbi Joseph Isaac Schneerson, the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, established a Chabad presence in Worcester with the appointment of emissaries Rabbi Hershel Fogelman of blessed memory and Rebbetzin Rochele Fogelman. Lubavitch flourished under the guidance and blessing of Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe. A special announcement will be coming soon about plans for this special 75th anniversary year.
We wish you and your families a sweet, happy, and healthy new year, and look forward to seeing you all in shul. Rabbi Mendel and Chani Fogelman
