Throughout his life, Yaakov was deeply committed to the growth and flourishing of our community. In the last few years of his life, after moving to Worcester, he tirelessly devoted himself to giving Torah classes, engaging in mivtzoim, and assisting in any way he could. His love for our community was felt by all. This Torah, aptly named "Yaakov's Torah," will be used in our shul, carrying forward the legacy of Yaakov's dedication and love for Torah and the Jewish people.
